Alongside its filter bag manufacturing, Micro-one Co., Ltd. designs and builds waste incinerators, flue gas treatment systems and power plant dust collection equipment on an EPC basis. Designs are checked with CFD flow analysis and 3D modeling, and every system can be fitted with Micro-one’s own DuraFill™ and CataFill™ filter bags.
We offer cost-effective consulting tailored to each customer and provide after-sales service once the plant is handed over.
Micro-one operates a petroleum coke (petcoke)-fired steam supply facility (capacity 40 tons/hour) and supplies the steam to Nexen Tire (269,280 tons/year) and Heung-A Tire (31,680 tons/year). The fuel is petroleum coke with a heating value of 8,000 kcal/kg or more and a particle size of 200 mesh or finer. To control emissions from burning petroleum coke, the plant runs DeNOx (SNCR, SCR), dust removal (multi-cyclone, electrostatic precipitators) and desulfurization (FGD) systems.
What equipment does the facility include?
Boiler
The furnace and boiler are integrated; the furnace operates at 1,600°C and the boiler outlet is designed for 350°C.
(steam production capacity: 960 tons/day, petroleum coke consumption: 81.6 tons/day)
Selective Non-Catalytic Reduction (SNCR)
A non-catalytic DeNOx system that injects a reducing agent directly into the furnace to convert NOx from boiler combustion into N₂ and H₂O.
(treatment capacity: 330,780 m³/h, reduction efficiency: 50%)
Multi-Cyclone Dust Collector
Uses centrifugal force to remove dust from the flue gas. The collected dust is returned to the furnace by conveyor and burned again.
(treatment capacity: 25,560 m³/h, removal efficiency: 70%)
Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR)
A catalytic DeNOx system that converts NOx from boiler combustion into N₂ and H₂O.
(treatment capacity: 101,640 m³/h, reduction efficiency: 87.5%)
Dry Electrostatic Precipitator (Dry ESP)
High voltage between the discharge electrodes and collecting plates creates a corona discharge, and dust in the passing flue gas is captured on the collecting plates.
(treatment capacity: 43,000 m³/h, removal efficiency: 93%)
Venturi Scrubber
Water sprayed at the venturi throat captures and removes dust particles.
(treatment capacity: 79,140 m³/h, removal efficiency: 10%)
Flue Gas Desulfurization (FGD)
Pumps continuously recirculate limestone slurry, which is sprayed from the top of the spray tower.
The flue gas reacts with the slurry, removing SOx and dust. (treatment capacity: 79,080 m³/h, removal efficiency: 98.8%)
Flue gas enters from the bottom of the unit, passes through the collecting electrodes and exits through the upper duct. High-voltage discharge captures dust and mist, which a water film washes down and out of the unit.
(treatment capacity: 100,320 m³/h [2 units × 50,160 m³/h], removal efficiency: 94%)
