Micro-one is a filter bag manufacturer and supplier that makes everything in-house: nonwoven felt, ePTFE membrane, lamination and finished filter bags. This vertical integration lets us design filters for each industry's flue gas conditions and control quality and lead times directly.
Our flagship products are the CataFill™ catalytic filter bag, which reduces dust and harmful gases such as NOx and HCN in a single filter, and the DuraFill™ ePTFE membrane filter bag. Micro-one is one of the few catalytic filter bag suppliers with bags installed and operating at customer plants (3,300 bags at the Kanding incinerator, Taiwan, 2024; 840 bags at a refinery/chemical plant of a major Korean company, 2026). Since 2006, Micro-one has supplied filter bags to more than 700 customers in Korea and overseas.
An ePTFE membrane is a microporous film made by stretching PTFE in two directions; laminated onto filter media, it captures dust on the filter surface. Micro-one is an ePTFE membrane manufacturer and supplier in Korea.
Laminated onto standard felt, it turns a conventional filter bag into a membrane filter bag. Micro-one also supplies membranes for HEPA and ULPA filters used in the semiconductor, display and pharmaceutical industries. Both DuraFill™ filter bags and CataFill™ catalytic filter bags are built on this membrane.
Key Features
High heat resistance
Withstands temperatures above 250°C
Excellent chemical resistance
Resistant to acids, alkalis and other chemicals
High efficiency with high air permeability
Pore size 1 µm or smaller, porosity above 80%
Uniform pore structure keeps air permeability consistent across the membrane and spreads gas evenly
Stops dust penetration
When laminated onto filter media, captures more than 99.9% of dust at the surface
How is the membrane made?
STEP01
Preforming
PTFE powder is compressed into an initial shape.
STEP02
Paste extrusion
PTFE powder is mixed with lubricant into a paste and extruded.
STEP03
MD stretching
The film is stretched in the machine direction (MD).
STEP04
CD stretching
Stretching in the cross direction (CD) completes the pore structure.
ePTFE Membrane Filter Bags vs. Standard Needle-Felt Bags
Feature
Standard needle-felt bag
ePTFE membrane filter bag
Filtration
Depth filtration (dust builds up inside the felt)
Surface filtration (dust captured on the membrane)
It is a microporous film made by stretching PTFE in the machine direction (MD) and the cross direction (CD). Laminated onto the surface of filter media, it stops dust from entering the filter and captures it at the surface.
Does Micro-one manufacture its own ePTFE membrane?
Yes. Micro-one produces it in-house, from preforming and paste extrusion to MD and CD stretching, and uses it in DuraFill™ filter bags and CataFill™ catalytic filter bags.
How does a membrane filter bag differ from a standard filter bag?
A standard filter bag works by depth filtration, so dust penetrates and accumulates inside the felt. A membrane filter bag uses surface filtration, so it cleans easily and its pressure drop rises less, improving bag life and collection efficiency.
Can I buy the membrane on its own?
Yes. Micro-one supplies membranes and laminated media to baghouse filter manufacturers and to HEPA/ULPA air filter manufacturers. Please contact us.
